	INSURANCE: Insurance Coverage and Automobile Financing A company wanted to maximize sales for an insurance program they provided to issuers of automotive loans. A software program was designed by Information Engineering and distributed to loan institutions to help their customers compare automotive loan options. The program made loan selection easier for consumers while directing lenders toward our client for its insurance needs. The program increased business for our client and provided an added benefit for its customers.
	GOVERNMENT: Legislative Bill Tracking System A state legislative services agency sought a means to quickly assess the status of bills moving through the legislative process, from introduction, to committee deliberations, hearings, amendments and, ultimately, passage or defeat. Information Engineering developed a system that conveniently updates the daily status of bills and allows users to observe content or sponsorship changes. Users can also generate an array of analytical reports on legislative activities, access archived data on past legislative sessions, and generate an indexed journal report incorporating all relevant data.
	MANUFACTURING: Direct and Indirect cost Tracking A manufacturer needed a quick and accurate means of calculating projects costs, both direct and indirect. Information Engineering conceived a program, utilizing barcode technology, that helped management track a variety of costs, including man-hours, raw material and maintenance. The program enabled the client to submit highly competitive bids without sacrificing their profit margins.
	MARKET RESEARCH: Data Binding and Reporting A market research company was having difficulty rapidly compiling and publishing its survey data. Information Engineering constructed a program to assemble data from a variety of designated sources and compile it into a document complete with graphs and tables. The program not only enabled our client to produce high-quality documents, it helped them do it faster than ever before.
	INFORMATION SYSTEMS: Project Management An Information Technology department was having difficulty prioritizing and responding to a high volume of work requests. An application, originated by Information Engineering, allows work requests to be submitted electronically. The application enabled the IT department to prioritize projects and track team member’s tasks and costs, both projected and actual.
